Mo.T.I.S GmbH was founded in 2006 by several companies, including manufacturers of kitchen and sanitary modules, producers of moulded plastic parts, and also manufacturers of bed systems. Initially, MOTIS was the manufacturer of a system that was installed in the cab of trucks and made drivers' long journeys more pleasant by providing them with luxurious equipment ranging from a refrigerator to a washbasin.

Since 2010, the company has developed into a specialised dealer in the field of components for recreational and commercial vehicles.
